SAID ALMUZAHIMI

UC Davis Chapter Co-President

Said is a sophomore at UC Davis double-majoring in chemical engineering and neurobiology. Having represented the Sultanate of Oman in the Mathematical Olympiad in 2016, he is very fascinated by the applications of mathematics in various fields. Said is passionate about Mars, and currently he is doing his own multi-topic research on the feasibility of finding life there. By becoming the VP of Philanthropy at Alpha Sigma Phi, he has initiated a new international philanthropy that aims to help children refugees. Said's future plans are revolving around pursuing an MD/PhD in the near future, to ultimately becoming a pediatrician while doing the NASA astronaut training program.

TEJAS SOOD

UC Davis Chapter Co-President

Tejas Sood is a rising senior studying political science at UC Davis and is the Co-President of Panel to the People's UC Davis chapter on campus. Outside of Panel to the People, he is involved in the Army ROTC program and on track to commission as an officer into the Army with aspirations to attend Law school in the future. In the past, he has worked for the Ami Bera campaign and at his district office. He has experience working for the Placer County Democratic Party as part of their voter registration program and is particularly knowledgeable about California's election process. Needless to say, he believes in maximum participation in the political process and this drive to foster the discussions that need to be had for a better world emerge has prepared him adequately for this position.
