SHANNON PARK
UCLA Chapter President
Shannon is a sophomore at UCLA intending to major in Communication with an English minor. She is an active leader and has represented her high school student body as ASB Vice President and an Honor Council representative for three years. Shannon loves to interact with a diverse range of people and is unafraid to be in foreign settings and voice her opinions regarding important matters. She also has a passion for creative pursuits, expressing herself through writing, painting, speech, film production, and dance. Ten years into the future, Shannon envisions herself as a lawyer and a part-time writer.

ALLISON LEE
UCLA Chapter Vice President
Allison Lee is a sophomore at UCLA studying political science on the pre-law track. Throughout high school, Allison participated in debate, Mock Trial, and competitive civics, where she acquired a love for public speaking. She also co-founded Speak Out Foundation, a nonprofit that provides public speaking classes for underprivileged youth. At UCLA, she serves as a staff member of Bruin Political Union and Universities Allied for Essential Medicines, as she is passionate about government and politics and its intersection with healthcare. In her free time, Allison enjoys figure skating and filming K-pop dance covers. She is excited to join P2TP to hear from a diverse group of students and experts who are passionate about making a difference in our world.
SARAH HUANG
UCLA Chapter Secretary
Sarah Huang is a Chinese-American born and raised in Brawley, California, a Hispanic community of the Imperial Valley. Throughout high school, she has done hundreds of hours of community service for several clubs and her local hospital while balancing other extracurricular activities and academics. Now, as a sophomore at UCLA, Sarah is majoring in Human Biology and Society, aiming to be an obstetrician/gynecologist to give back to her community, and hoping to minor in Chinese to learn her native language.
JOHN YOON
UCLA Ambassador
John is a sophomore at UCLA, majoring in Electrical Engineering. He is passionate about using math and science to make the world a better, safer, and faster place. Outside of classrooms, he loves playing sports, mostly soccer and tennis, hanging out with his friends, and doing outdoor activities.
JONATHAN BANH
UCLA Ambassador
Jonathan Banh is a sophomore at UCLA majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology on the pre-med track, with plans to double major in Chemistry and Biochemistry and minor in Biomedical Research. Before college, he became certified as a Medical Coder/Biller and Medical Assistant. He is interested in the chemical mechanisms behind life and the utilization of mathematics in biology, hoping to someday make an impact on the medical world through research. To him, Panel to the People is a great avenue to expand on his love for deep and meaningful conversations about important societal issues by fostering widespread involvement within communities. Outside of school, he enjoys keeping up with the news, playing with his dogs, watching videos, and hanging out with his friends.
JULIANNA SHIMBAKURO
UCLA Ambassador
Julianna Shimabukuro is a sophomore at the University of California, Los Angeles, majoring in psychobiology on the pre-med track. In high school, she was the vice president of her school's Future Medical Professionals of America club and Red Cross, allowing her to gain leadership skills and interact with her club members and blood donors as well as health care professionals. She loves to help others and strives to make a difference in the world while educating others about topics that must be addressed. In her free time, she can be found volunteering at local animal shelters, expressing her passion for photography, and baking to her heart's content.
TOBIAS YANG
UCLA Ambassador
Tobias Yang is a sophomore at UCLA and is majoring in Pre-Communication. He has served as ASB President at his high school and participated in other organizations such as SEL (Social Emotional Learning) to plan events and encourage wellness in all areas of life. Tobias loves to play basketball, watch movies, and talk to friends, and he is very excited to join P2TP to have a positive impact on his campus and on the world.
